To set up a new email channel, go to:
- Settings
- Channels -> Add Channel
- Facebook Messenger -> Start setup
Connect to Instagram
Since Instagram is owned by META (Facebook's parent company), the process resembles the one when connecting a Facebook Messenger channel.

Before starting, you must ensure that your Instagram Page is connected to your Business Manager.
During the authentication, you are asked to sign in to Instagram. Here, you must sign in with your Instagram Page credentials.
So to recap:
- Sign into Fcaebook / Meta with your personal credentials. Ensure you are an administrator on the Business Manager that owns the Facebook page that the Instagram account is associated with
- Sign into Instagram with your Instagram accounts credentials
Once done, you are ready to handle your Instagram DM's in Herodesk.
